A cold front will continue to advance southward this morning across most of north and north central Texas. Areas of light to moderate rain will be possible along and just behind the front. Rainfall totals will generally be under one quarter of an inch. Temperatures immediately behind the front will fall into the 40s and 50s. Colder conditions...with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s along the Red River...will gradually overspread areas generally along and north of a Jacksboro to Sanger to Bonham line thru the mid to late morning hours. North winds will also increase later this morning across this area...resulting in wind chill values in the twenties.

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from midnight
tonight to noon CST Thursday...

* timing... midnight Wednesday night through noon Thursday.

* Precipitation type... freezing rain... transitioning to sleet and
snow.

* Accumulation... around 1/10 of an inch of ice... then less than
one inch of sleet and snow possible.

* Temperatures... falling below freezing after midnight tonight.

* Impacts... accumulating ice... sleet... and snow will create
hazardous travel conditions... beginning late Wednesday night and
continuing through Thursday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Bridges and overpasses will be the first locations where icy spots
may develop. Please travel with caution.

Statement as of 10:19 AM CST em 04 de Março de 2015

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to
6 am CST Thursday...

... Dense fog advisory is cancelled...
the National Weather Service in Fort Worth has cancelled the
dense fog advisory for Henderson... Navarro... Freestone... Anderson
... Lampasas... and Leon counties.

The dense fog advisory will continue until 11 am CST this morning
for areas generally along and south of a Gatesville to Waco to
Hearne line.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to 6 am
CST Thursday.

* Timing... dense fog will continue thru 11 am this morning...
strong north winds are expected late this afternoon through
early tomorrow morning.

* Winds... sustained north winds of 25 to 35 mph with wind gusts
between 35 and 40 mph.

* Impacts... reduced visibility will make driving hazardous.
Strong north winds may result in driving difficulties on east-
west oriented roadways... especially for lightweight and high-
profile vehicles. Strong north winds combined with expected
wintry precipitation will reduce visibilities. In addition...
strong north winds combined with cold temperatures will result
in wind chill values in the single digits and teens.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of at least 20 to
30 mph are expected. Residents may wish to take action to secure
trash cans... lawn furniture... and other lightweight outdoor
objects that may be blown around in the strong winds. Individuals
outdoors should also be prepared for wind chill values in the
single digits and teens.
