..snow continues in southwestern Ontario today..
The low pressure system that continues to track across Lake Erie has
brought a significant snowfall to southwestern Ontario.
Additional snowfall amounts of up to 5 centimetres are expected to
fall today.
The snow may be heavy at times this morning giving reduced
visibilities. Also, along the coasts of the lower Great Lakes, winds
of 30 km/h with gusts to 50 km/h could reduce visibilities in local
drifting or blowing snow. Motorists are urged to exercise caution
while travelling.
The snow is expected to taper to flurries early this afternoon when
the system moves off to the east.
Listen for further statements. Additional information may also be
found by consulting the latest public forecast. The next public
forecast will be issued by 11 am.
